Youth Against Violence: Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls program is designed for passionate and committed individuals who want to take action on ending violence against women and girls – people like YOU. Anyone can run this program with a group of youth by using the resources on this page.
Youth Against Violence: Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls program and resources were developed and delivered as a part of the project undertaken by the Justice Education Society of BC in support of We Can End All Violence Against Women BC Campaign in 2011-2013. It was funded by the Status of Women Canada under the Blueprint Initiative. This two-year project targeted youth in Grades 7 through 12 throughout the province with the goal to empower youth through training and support to promote gender equality and non-violence among their peers and in the wider school community. Visit Project Information to learn more about the project and its results.
