Take Your Grade 9 Students to Work Day

Once again the JES BC will offer this special program and facilitate this national day referred to as "Take Our Grade 9 Students to Work Day" for students connected to our court colleagues, and the courthouse community. The agenda will include opportunities to hear speakers from the courthouse community, connect with legal professionals, observe court proceedings, and have a final Q&A session with a Provincial Court Judge.

Location: Offered at 4 locations.

• Vancouver Law Courts (#260-800 Hornby Street, Vancouver)
• Vancouver Provincial Court - the Criminal Court (222 Main Street)
• Surrey Provincial Courthouse (14340 57 Ave, Surrey)
• Victoria Courthouse (entrance on the Blanshard Street side, 851 Burdett Ave)

Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Time: Students should be dropped off at 9 AM and picked up at 1 PM.

Cost: Fees apply in certain locations to enable us to meet demand of program. If the fee is a barrier please email us at LawLessons@justiceeducation.ca for a fee waiver request.

Important Notes:

• There is a search gate at the courthouse entrance.

• No large bags or knapsacks, please.

• In order to prepare for the day please review our court protocol
